Monkey Presents: Chinese Zodiac Horoscope Animals

monkey author If you follow astrology like I do, you most likely know that Daily Chinese horoscopes involve 12 different animals, like the monkey. You determine your corresponding animal based on the year you were born. I am the monkey since I was born in....well we won't discuss that yet...

The Chinese New Year is on February 4th ever year and runs until February 3rd of the following year. It runs for a sixty year period which matches 1924-2043. It just so happens that 2008 is the year of the rat. Sorry to all you other monkeys out there!

I always try my best to watch out for the snakes & dragons out there...I'm also pretty sure that there's Beanie Babies to represent each of the above animals, and maybe even Webkinz! So which animal are you and do the traits fit your personality?!?

I won't get into too much more of this, but there's also animals that correspond by month born (inner animals) and animals based on the hours of the day born (secret animals). Read more info about the Chinese Zodiac at Wikipedia.org.

One final note: According to the legend, Monkeys are also power signs capable of doing great good or great evil, so watch out!

Special thanks to the great Jeff Bucchino - The Wizard of Draws for art above!
