Kelly Kapowski Halloween Costume Ideas

Watch the clip above, you'll relive your days of eating junk food while watching Zack, Lisa, Kelly, Slater, Jesse and Screech as they tried to live it up in high school! Jimmy even invites Zack to be part of a special reunion for the SBTB class!

From Amazon.com - Series Summary
Saved by the Bell was a resurrection of the cancelled show Good Morning, Miss Bliss. The setting was relocated to California, but with the same characters of Zach, Screech, Lisa, and Mr. Belding. Styled after Ferris Bueller, Zach is the mischievous leader of a group of students, including love interest Kelly, gossip queen Lisa, and geek Screech. Saved by the Bell's successful formula of high school hijinks helped launch a wave of teen-oriented shows in the 1990s.

Lake Chargoggagoggmanchauggagoggchaubunagungamaugg!

Yea, Yea... I know it looks like my "g" key needs to be fixed, but in all reality Lake Chargoggagoggmanchauggagoggchaubunagungamaugg is a real place! It's also the longest place name there is in the whole wide world. Apparently those people who want to take the easy way out just call it Lake Webster, since it's a lake in Webster, Massachusetts. It's near the border of Connecticut and has a surface area of 1,442 acres. Sounds like quite the party place though (and quite a tongue twister)!

But there's also a problem with good ol' Lake Chargoggagoggmanchauggagoggchaubunagungamaugg: The Telegram & Gazette of Worcester said local Chamber of Commerce officials agreed that the spelling may be wrong on some sings, because there was an "o'' at letter 20 where a "u'' should have been, and an "h'' at letter 38 where an "n'' should go. (I'm sure a lot of people have noticed the errors). The name's Indian in origin and a joking myth said it translated 'You fish on your side, I fish on my side, and nobody fish in the middle.' It's more recently been translated as "Fishing Place at the Boundaries -- Neutral Meeting Grounds." Either way, there's no denying that's one long friggin name! Imagine getting that lake name in a Spelling bee or as the question for a Jeopardy answer? Yikes!

Read more about Lake Chargogga- er, Webster at the official Wikipedia for it!

Batman's Christian Bale Goes Bananas!

monkey censors bale
Bale & Monkey Chillin'

A funny thing happened during a scene from the upcoming Terminator: Salvation movie starring Christian Bale...It seems one of the people working on the movie wandered into a scene where Bale and co-star Bryce Dallas Howard were acting. Boy did Batman let him have a tongue lashing!!! You can listen via the link below and count the F bombs for fun...E! Online has an article as well where the movie's assistant director says Bale was having a bad day.

Here's a little transcript of Christian Bale's kind words for his fellow human being:

Bale: "kick your f%(#$%(@n a$$! I want you off the set you pr---k!
other dude: I'm sorry.
Bale: No don't just be sorry, think for one f%@%()@n second! What the f$&$) are you doing? Are you a professional or not?
other dude: Sir yes I am.
Bale: Do I f%#)(%@n walk around and rip that-- No shut the f(*$* up Bruce..Do I walk- NO! NO! Don't shut me up! Am I gonna walk around and rip your f%()@*#%@n lights down in the middle of a scene?
other dude: No.
Bale: Then why the f%()* are you walkin right through? Ah da da da da like this in the background. What the f%()#@ is it with you?! What don't you f%*()#n understand?

Wow. It's a good thing I wasn't on the set, because I'd have left a banana peel for him to trip on while he was trying to shoot Terminator androids. Imagine the language if that happened?!

Not sure if you guys knew this, but I was a stunt double on The Dark Knight. Unfortunatley, I got into the wrong scene at the wrong time...

(The day I interrupted the Dark Knight)

Shrimp on a Treadmill

Yes my friends, even crustaceans need their excercise! The above YouTube video is of Sammy the Shrimp (named him myself), running on an underwater treadmill. As you can see he's definitely getting quite a workout on all his legs. According to an MSNBC.com article, the sea creature is being studied. The study is to determine the health of the shrimp, to see how diseases impact their performance. Basically

Shrimp dealing with an infection would be less active and might be limited in their ability to migrate, find food, and avoid being eaten, Scholnick said. "These studies will give us a better idea of how marine animals can perform in their native habitat when faced with increasing pathogens and immunological challenges."

It's great to see scientists taking such an active interest in the health of our seafood, because I want them to make sure it's in tip-top shape for my Scampi dinner!
